When Dillan heard that his former Notre Dame teammate, Ja’Mion Franklin’s mother, Latoya, was diagnosed with breast cancer, he jumped on board with him to help out. Ja’Mion became Big Man Big Heart’s Duke University Campus Ambassador and the two put together a GoFundMe to raise money to help Latoya and the Franklin family with her medical expenses related to chemotherapy and radiation she needed to beat the cancer. Sadly, Ja’Mion’s father battled AML Leukemia four years ago and the family was just getting back on their feet financially when Latoya received her diagnosis. Ja’Mion and Big Man Big Heart raised over $30,000.00 to help Latoya through this terrible diagnosis and treatment.
