Dillan enlisted the support of Big Man Big Heart Ambassador and teammate Brady Scott to help a 14-year-old give, Liana Joy Ihde, and her family as she battled AML(Acute Myeloid) Leukemia. Brady met Liana and her family on the beach in South Carolina and they connected through their love of football and the fact that Brady himself is a childhood leukemia survivor. When he was going through the hard times with his illness, the Make-a-Wish Foundation helped his family and he wanted to pay that forward by helping Liana Joy and her family. The GoFundMe raised over $27,000.00 for the Ihde family. At the onset of the fundraiser, the mission was to help support the family as Liana moved to Orlando to have bone marrow transplants. Sadly, Liana’s condition deteriorated to the point where she was unable to have the potentially life-saving transplant. On December 17th, 2021, Liana passed away from her illness.
